Amanda "Mandy" Ellis is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience. Since becoming a nurse practitioner in 2020, she has cultivated advanced clinical expertise in cardiovascular and cardiometabolic health. Known for her curiosity and clinical precision, she blends evidence-based medicine with genuine compassion to help patients achieve lasting wellness.  

 

Mandy created More Than Meds to reimagine how healthcare is delivered—prioritizing time, trust, and meaningful patient relationships. Her vision is simple: to offer accessible, comprehensive care that truly goes beyond prescriptions.

Originally from Waco, Texas, Amanda has lived in Eagle River for nearly 15 years since her husband’s Air Force assignment brought them to Alaska. She’s a proud mom and wife to a retired veteran, and she brings that same warmth and commitment to her work.
